Fiesta Pizza – Atlantic City, NJ

Fiesta is a couple of blocks off the beach in a residential part of south Atlantic City. The décor reminds us more of a burger joint than a pizzeria, but that doesn’t bother us. It was the way the pizza looked that was the first sign of trouble. PizzaSnobo doesn’t like to judge a book by its cover, but we couldn’t help thinking that Fiesta’s pie looked a lot like a pizza you’d find at an airport terminal. Unfortunately, it tasted that way too.

While Fiesta doesn’t do slices, their smallest pizza is the 8” personal pie for $3.75. The crust is light, airy and tasteless and snaps like a cracker when you bend it. The cheese is on the low grade side but happily there is not too much of it. The sauce, as often is the case, is the best part of the slice. Trouble is, we weren’t sure whether it came from a can.

We never like giving a bad review, but consider frozen pizza before ordering in a pie from Fiesta.
