Amina Pizzeria is a small place just outside of Waikiki near the Ala Moana. You might drive by it every day without even noticing it. If you haven’t seen or tried it, you are not missing anything.

The 12-inch pizza is $10.95. Amina’s crust is very soft and chewy, and tastes similar to Ellio’s frozen pizza. We made better crust in our home economics class as kids. The cheese is mild without much taste. Most of the flavor comes from the herbs in the sauce. The marinara is not terrible, but reminded us of what you might get with your cheese sticks at a chain restaurant.

If you are going to have pizza here, try the French bread style instead.
