Welcome to Naples, New Jersey, USA. A Mano specializes in Neapolitan pizza, importing all ingredients from Italy, including the duo of hand-made wood burning brick ovens. A Mano is the predecessor to the famed Keste in Greenwich Village, with practically an identical menu. The space is large located near Ridgewood’s train station. On the day of our visit, they were closing early to host a wedding . . . brilliant, may the bride and groom share a life of glorious pizza making together!

The margarita pie ($10.99) is very similar to Keste and for a buck cheaper in NJ. It is made with the same combination of milky mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, sprinkled parmiggiano reggiano, basil and extra virgin olive oil. The crust is soft and chewy and tastes great. The sauce is nice and with a strong tomato flavor that has a hint of sweetness. The cheese is also very good, a key component when putting out top notch DOC pies. We liked A Mano very much but like Keste even more. A Mano’s crust doesn’t have the perfect brown finish, plus this pie can get a little bit soupy.

A Mano is one of the best around for authentic Neapolitan pizza, or any other style for that matter. They also serve other Italian dishes and gelato.
