Two Boots – multiple locations

Multiple Locations

Great for pizza lovers and film buffs alike, Two Boots started in 1987 on Avenue A in the East Village and has been much loved for years by both patrons and critics. It has its detractors – perhaps because it has expanded throughout New York City to Los Angeles, Baltimore and Connecticut – and while other gourmet pizzas have inevitably captured the spotlight, Two Boots remains one of the better slices around.

The Two Boots slice ($2.50) is the same size as other NY style slices, but Two Boots is in a flavor category of its own. Cajun inspired, the slices have a spicy kick to them and the thin cornmeal dough is a treat. And special pizzas like Bayou Beast and Mr. Pink are not to be missed.

Turnover at Two Boots is always high, at least in the downtown locations, and the full service restaurants on Avenue A and in Brooklyn are great for families.
