PizzaSnobo would not be doing anyone a favor if we reviewed every pizzeria there is. Sometimes a pizzeria hasn’t been reviewed it’s because it’s on our to-do list. Other times, a restaurant is skipped because there are better places out there. Such is the case with Pizza Booth (not to be confused with Pizza Box right across the street). Normally, we would skip over this place, but since it’s on a perennially popular stretch of Bleecker Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, we figured we’d make mention. But the bottom line is what you might guess already, Pizza Booth should be avoided.

The pizza is thin and bad. The cheese and sauce were on the sour side, making this one of the easier slices ($2.50) to put down after a couple of bites. You could almost taste the metal and plastic packaging. The result is some of the worst pizza in the area. About the best we can say about Pizza Booth is that the pizza doesn’t flop over.

There are plenty of better choices nearby. Once you’ve finished eating, check out some cover music from Mike Tait and others at the Red Lion.
