Lodi Pizza Restaurant New JerseyFor all of you Sopranos fans, we first met Ralphie Cifaretto at Lodi Pizza during season 3. It is not to be confused with Pizzaland seen in the show’s opening credits. Lodi Pizza has been around since the late ‘60s and they haven’t seemed to change a thing. They sure don’t make ovens like them anymore, apparently because of insulation and/or stone cooking surfaces made of asbestos.

The slice ($1.80) here is a bit deceiving. It looks very thin and overloaded with cheese but in reality the crust is bready with just a covering of cheese. The pizza is well done with a nice crisp bottom but the crust can be very chewy. The cheese is good and stringy but a bit oily. TheLodi Pizza Restaurant Lodi, New Jersey sauce is very good and little sweet but unfortunately too sparse.

Grab a slice on the way to your private jet sitting down the road at Teterboro.
