Donna’s Pizza must be doing something right. It has been open since 1965 and is one of the last few spots remaining in a town that now rivals Manhattan’s Koreatown. Donna’s offers both an English and Korean menu, though we doubt a specialty kimchi pizza will go worldwide.

The crust can be a bit uneven. Our slice ($2.40) managed to be both thin and thick depending on where you bite. The overall texture is good though. The cheese is a bit stringy and can get clumpy when you fold the pizza, but the flavor is fine. The sauce is a little on the bland side. Donna’s unevenly sprinkles oregano on top which we’d prefer was left off so the customer can apply as they like.

Donna’s has our vote for the best pizza in Pal Park but if you are willing to drive a little there are better choices.
