Caesar’s Palace on the Upper West Side near 84th Street can get crowded, especially at lunch when construction workers and moms with strollers are both looking for a place to go. This local joint boasting a brick oven and some great-looking pies makes Caesar’s an easy choice.

The plain slices ($2.75) are large but thin and don’t have any crunch (unlike T&R down the street). The crust also tends to fall apart due to excess moisture. The sauce is sweet and there is a lot of it. We’re sure some people love Caesar’s pizza and others can’t stand it. But that’s the beauty of a million choices in NYC. Overall, it reminds us of mall pizza we loved growing up, before the Sbarro’s of the world took over.

Check Caesar’s website for coupon deals, which were delivery only at the time of this writing.
