Astro’s Pizza and Felice’s Ristorante – Amagansett, NY

The pizza options are fairly limited in the Hamptons, with each town having a couple of choices. In Amagansett, there is only one place to get slices. Thankfully, it’s pretty good. Astro’s is split it two halves, the pizzeria side and the restaurant side. Both are great for families, though about half the tables on the pizzeria side were in need of being wiped down when we were there.

The slices ($2.50) are on the thicker side of thin and a tad oily. They’re also a bit garlicy, which is a plus for many. The cheese melts in your mouth and the sauce is pretty standard stuff. We found the crust too bland, but we did like its texture.

If you are spending the summer in Amagansett, it will be hard not to come here at least once.
